General FAQ

What is Romsey Makers Online Marketplace?

Romsey Makers Online Mrketplace (RMOM) is a multi-vendor website (like Etsy, Ebay, Amazon etc) but for crafters and makers in the Romsey Area. It allows makers to have an online store to sell their goods, with the added benefit of being able to use the Romsey Makers Market as a collection point in addition to allowing traditional postage.

Who is my contract with?

Romsey Makers Online Marketplace (RMOM) is a platform for local makers to sell their products. When you purchase a product through this website you are entering into a contract solely with the vendor. All payments you make go directly to the vendor, and they are responsible for the entire sale, from initial purchase to delivery/collection.

Likewise, for refunds, you will be dealing directly with the vendor. The best way to do this is by logging into the marketplace and creating an enquiry from your purchases tab.

RMOM is available to contact in the event of a dispute, but we cannot guarantee to be arbiters or enter into any contact unless you have exhausted every possibility with the vendor first.
